Security
A practical overview of how ServiceTechIQ approaches access control, data protection, and operational security.
ServiceTechIQ is designed as a multi-tenant business platform with access boundaries based on organization, role, and workflow context.
Tenant & role separation
Logical tenant separation and role-based access controls are used to keep company data and user permissions scoped to the appropriate organization and role.
Data safeguards
Security measures include encryption in transit, provider-supported encryption at rest, authentication controls, credential protection, and administrative access controls.
Monitoring & response
Operational practices include logging, monitoring, vulnerability and dependency management, backup practices, and incident-response procedures appropriate to the Services.
Data handling
ServiceTechIQ maintains data-export, retention, and deletion procedures appropriate to the platform and customer agreements.
Security incidents
When a confirmed security breach affects customer personal data, Primal Array's current draft data-processing terms call for notice to the customer without undue delay and for available information to help the customer meet applicable obligations.
Customer responsibilities
Customers remain responsible for managing authorized users, role configuration, protecting credentials, reviewing access, configuring connected services, and promptly reporting suspected compromise.
